WarpSpeed Performance

WarpSpeed Performance believes in dyno testing our applications, we do it to fine tune and maximize our performance modifications. We dyno tested our WarpSpeed Performance Gen 3 "Y" pipe and that "other Y pipe" you know "the one hung low brand" you know the one from the guy who said "I did it first". We tested our 1993 manual trans, VE dohc engine with 111000 plus miles. We ran 3 runs with each pipe. Both were run with our Cat-back kit with 2.5" B-pipe and baffled turbo muffler as well as a Carsound 2.5" High-Flow Catalytic Converter.

The tests were performed at RV Power Products 160 N hwy 160 Reed Springs Missouri (just north of Branson). The company specializes in Turbo Charger, Super Charger and performance installs to cars, trucks and Motor Coaches. The facility is about 1 year old. Our car was dynoed on a Mustang Dynamometer with Trace Data Printout.

The Dyno test results showed an increase in torque of .8ft.lbs and an increase of 6.6 to 6.7 hp over that "other Y pipe".

We also dyno tested our WarpSpeed Performance set-up with a Random Technologies Catalytic converter. We were shocked to measure no additional horsepower or torque when compared to our High Flow Carsound catalytic converter which we sell for about $125 less than the Random. The main reason is that the same company makes the ceramic substrate in both converters.
