The rear of the subframe tube is lined up and centered on the seam by the rear stabilizer mount (as shown) and tack welded in place, when positioned, weld in place but only 1-2" at a time to keep the heat down.

The gas filter bracket is relocated to the subframe tube by welding a 3/8" x 1" bolt to the tube and applying the nut, it ends up in the same basic position. The mounting hole tab will need to be bent slightly to change the angle for best fit.

The Stage 2 X bracing is installed by positioning the center brace, marking the holes and drilling 2 3/8" holes to attach it. Once the center brace is installed attach the X brace rods to the center mounting plate. Short rods to front, long rods to the rear. When the rods are attached to the center simply position them over the mounting tabs, mark them with spray paint through the hole in X brace rod end, drill the 3/8" hole and attach the bolt and nut. Grade 5 Bolts and aircraft style locknuts are included in kit.
